The Heritage flight program showcases active U.S. Air Force aircraft such as the F-22 Raptor, F-15 Eagle, F-16 Viper, and A-10 Warthog flying in close formation with classic warbirds now in civilian hands such as the P-51 Mustang and F-86 Saber Jet. The conference at Davis Monthan allows the pilots to practice flying such dissimilar aircraft in close formation.
