That's interesting. The plan originaly had been to fly twice and stop for a while prior to third flight, if I remember correctly. However, I imagine they did this third flight now because the first was cut short. Anyway, good to see that things seem to be running smoothly (knock on wood).

They tried to fly Monday but didn't, I don't know why.

AA-1 test flights at LMFW are planned through June 2008.

Got to see it fly today. Can't wait to see the AB takeoffs in the future.

Flew again (flight 5) today (Wednesday) afternoon. Successful afterburner light in flight.

Current plans are for next flight on Monday, the 29th.

The F-35 is being flown like any other aircraft from a Lockheed stand point. No extra special precautions are being taking like were taken on the first two flights. It taxis, takes off, and comes back. No real advance notice for the Fire Department.

Flight 6? today @ 11am -12 noon They flew for just over an hour. The light was tough from my angle just off the south east end of 35 and my cheesy camera... Sad

You can see the white paint is on the underside of the wing and now on the stabilizer as well as the top of the flap and wing tip.
