Hello all, I was wondering if anyone could help .

My husband lost his job just a few weeks before our first baby was to be born . She will be 3 months old on the 15th and he still has yet to find a job. He has been looking like crazy.

He spends all day sending out his resume on the computer . And working with job placement agencies . But we are running out of time and money.
His love is the f-16. He worked on them for 10-1/2 years in the air force as a 7-Level F-16 Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Craftsman .(E 5)

And 2-1/2 years at Lockheed as a F-16 Completion Supervisor. His resume is immaculate but its mostly f-16 experience. and his is having a hard time finding openings for f-16 work. I know if he could just get his resume in the right hands anyone who gave him a shot wouldn't be sorry.
If anyone knows of any openings.

We are in Texas now but we will gladly relocate

Not yet he didn't need it in the air force and Lockheed didn't require him to have it either . he has been looking into schools. His best option is like a 5 day cram course and then taking the exam. But its like eighteen hundred dollars and with out him working we cant afford it. It's kinda a catch 22 . if given the opportunity he could get one though with in a month or two of being hired if it was required.

Try here:
http://www.aviationrecruiting.net/
Failing that try this:

http://hotjobs.yahoo.com/jobseeker/jobs ... =1&kw=F-16

A basic google search with F-16 & job usually brings you up ALOT of options.
Has he considered the Guard, maybe as only a temporary solution?

Have him look at www.afpc.randolph.af.mil. There are some AFETS openings that should be coming open in the future also there are new positions opening on the Osprey and the new predator. The more detailed the resume the better for Civil Service jobs. When he finishes his resume with randolph you could email me and I could take a look at it to see if there is anything that should be added. Have him focus on troubleshooting and in depth knowledge of systems he has worked.
