Started in the Air Force in '96 as a crew chief on C-141's at McGuire AFB. Crewed C-141's and eventuallly KC-10's until 2001. Spent a year at Scott AFB working C-9's. The most boring assignment for a crew chief, it was the same as working a commercial aircraft. Moved to Tulsa in 2002 and transferred to the 125 FS and still there to this day.

The first F-16 I crewed, overall a good jet even though I was constantly fighting hyd leaks on it. Spends most of its time now with our detachment at Ellington flying ASA missions.

The acft Lt. Col Sonnenberg (may he rest in peace) went down in shortly after taking off from Balad in June of 2007. It was a good jet one of the best in the squadron.

Period 2005 -
Current: 89028  125 FS F-16C Block 42 Oct 2007 [act]
In a strange twist of irony for the first year I crewed 028, the 3 ex C-141 crew chiefs in the squadron were assigned to this jet. During this time I dubbed it the Spirit of the Starlifter.
